• Account Information - Your email address, name, and authentication credentials when you sign up.
• Product Content - Ideas, assumptions, interview notes, personas, survey responses, and other content you enter into the platform (collectively, "Your Content").
• Usage Data - Feature interactions, session activity, and platform usage patterns to improve the product.
• Technical Data - None.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

• Provide and improve the Margawise platform
• Personalise your experience and maintain your discovery history
• Send product updates, account notices, and support communications
• Analyse aggregate usage to improve product quality

3. Your Ideas Are Private

We do not sell, rent, or share Your Content including your ideas, assumptions, and research data with any third party for commercial or analytical purposes.

We do not use Your Content to train AI or machine learning models. Your ideas remain yours.

4. AI Processing

Margawise uses large language model (LLM) APIs to power features such as assumption extraction, hypothesis generation, and interview analysis. To deliver these features, relevant portions of your content are transmitted to our AI service providers in real time.

These transmissions are:

• Limited to what is necessary for the requested feature
• Governed by our data processing agreements with AI providers
• Not used to train or improve third-party AI models under our agreements

Our current AI providers include Anthropic and Google.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• With trusted vendors (hosting, authentication) who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality obligations.
• When required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
• In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with appropriate notice to you.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at panatividyasagar@gmail.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days, subject to legal obligations.

7. Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including RLS at Database Level, access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure; we will notify you promptly in the event of a breach affecting your data.

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. You may control cookie preferences through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may impact platform functionality.
